Job summary

Daikin Applied, the world's largest HVAC company, is seeking a Senior Production Manager in Phoenix, AZ. You will direct production activities, set production priorities, and coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, and Engineering to optimize resources and deliver on schedule.

You will drive lean manufacturing, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating with HR on staffing and policy decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering or related field.
• Certificate CSP, CHMM, Certified Sustainability Professional or equivalent.
• 8+ years related experience; including 4+ years people leadership experience.
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Directs production activities and sets production priorities.
• Confers with management to establish standards, budgets, and delivery data.
• Coordinates with Sales, Purchasing, and Engineering to optimize resources.
• Review reports to identify nonconformities and improve quality.
• Manage headcount and staff realignments as needed.
• Resolve manufacturing issues to minimize costs and delays.
• Develop and implement lean practices, 5S, Kaizen, and safety initiatives.
• Collaborate on safety training and plant safety committees.
• Partner with HR on recruitment, compensation, and labor decisions.
