Job summary

Axillon Aerospace is seeking a skilled Production Assembler 4 - OBS to join our composite manufacturing team. The role acts as a technical specialist and performs complex mechanical and electromechanical assembly operations.

You will inspect own work, follow process specifications, assist with training, and uphold safety standards while handling parts, measurements, and power tools in a fast-paced production cell.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of OBS or similar manufacturing experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a technical specialist and performs complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations.
• Conducts inspections of own work to ensure correctness per drawings.
• Applies process specifications and records production data at the cell.
• Assists with training in other production cells.
• Adheres to all safety policies and procedures.
• Selects, measures and aligns parts or subassemblies for production.
• Operates power tools and manufacturing equipment to assemble components.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
