Birdy Grey is hiring a Senior Product UX Designer to craft exceptional experiences across the customer journey, from discovery through post-purchase. This is a high-craft IC role at the center of product, engineering, and creative, focused on commerce conversion and lifecycle engagement.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of UX/UI design experience, strong Figma mastery, WCAG fluency, and an AI-enabled, data-informed approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 6+ years of UX/UI design experience across commerce and engagement.
• Proficient in Figma and design systems.
• Strong WCAG understanding and accessibility focus.
• AI-enabled design mindset and prototyping fluency.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end UX for assigned product areas, from concept through handoff.
• Advance design system patterns and component standards with engineering.
• Design conversion-optimized experiences across discovery, cart, and checkout.
• Create engagement-first features like quizzes and social sharing surfaces.
• Collaborate with engineering on constraints while maintaining quality.
• Coordinate with creative to align with brand identity and campaigns.
• Conduct usability sessions and synthesize research to inform decisions.
• Advocate WCAG accessibility across all design work.
• Present design rationale to cross-functional partners and stakeholders.
• Partner with Product, Growth, Analytics, and Engineering to reduce friction and improve metrics.
• Use data from analytics, session recordings, and experiments to guide design.
• Iterate experiences post-launch based on performance.
