Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Staff Product Support Engineer to join our Research and Advanced Design organization, onsite in El Segundo or San Diego, CA. This role focuses on ensuring quality lifecycle development and logistics products within the SOW, coordinating with leadership and external teammates to meet cost, schedule, and quality objectives.

The candidate should have a strong background in Product Support, reliability and maintainability, and the ability to travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in STEM and 12 years of related experience, or MS with 10 years, or STEM PhD with 8 years.
• Active US Government Secret clearance (or higher) with a recent background investigation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearance within a reasonable time.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Provides oversight of all Product Support technical activities.
• Ensures a robust systems engineering approach to support aircraft design and proposals.
• Demonstrates knowledge of aircraft systems including air vehicle, mission computing, communications, and sensors.
• Demonstrates knowledge of logistics disciplines including Supportability, Reliability, Maintainability, and provisioning.
