Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr. Principal Product Support Engineer to join Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems—R&AD, onsite in El Segundo or San Diego, CA. You will lead lifecycle development and ensure cost/schedule/quality objectives are met.

The role requires a STEM degree with substantial related experience and an active Secret clearance; travel up to 25% is expected. Northrop Grumman offers competitive salary, benefits, and growth opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline with 8+ years related experience, or Master’s with 6+ years, or STEM PhD with 4+ years.
Active US Government Secret clearance (or higher) with BI in past 6 years or Continuous Evaluation.
Ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearance in a reasonable time.
Experience in Integrated Logistics Elements and Sustainment/Supportability.

Responsibilities

Provide oversight of ACP Product Support technical activities.
Ensure systems engineering approach supports aircraft design and proposals.
Demonstrate knowledge of aircraft systems, logistics, and supportability disciplines.
Lead internal/external teammates and suppliers to meet program objectives.
