Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Product Security Engineer (Starlink) to influence security across SpaceX products, focusing on cryptographic services, OS and distributed systems security, and secure boot.

You will work on security features for Starlink hardware and software, and collaborate across teams to enhance the overall security posture. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in security software development with proficiency in Python, C++, or Golang, and experience with TPMs/HSMs and networking

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related STEM with 5+ years in security software development, or 7+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with Python, C++, or Go and security solutions for OS/distributed systems.
• Experience designing security for large-scale infrastructure and enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and build security infrastructure for Starlink, including cryptographic services.
• Develop security features for Starlink systems (router, dish, gateways, satellites).
• Design security into factory processes and provide network services in support of this.
• Maintain production systems and improve security posture through implementation and guidance.
• Build prototypes and test security improvements.
