Job summary

Salesforce’s Platform Security team seeks a Senior Product Security Engineer to own security for the platform’s integration and service-connectivity layer, including events, messaging, connectors, APIs, and service-to-service pathways that move customer data across trust boundaries.

You will surface concrete security risk, drive mitigation, and lead threat modeling and secure-by-default guidance across backend and integration areas.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product, application, or platform security operating independently on problems of moderate-to-high complexity.
• Experience threat-modeling complex systems to surface concrete security risk across design and code.
• Hands-on security design reviews and secure-by-default guidance for frameworks and onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Surface concrete security risk in complex system designs and drive mitigation.
• Lead threat modeling and security design reviews across event, integration, and API pathways.
• Coach engineers on secure design and threat modeling; push secure-by-default patterns.
