Job summary

CHAOS Industries is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer focused on Product Security to help design, assess, and secure our next-generation sensor platforms and supporting software ecosystems. You will work with Engineering, Embedded Systems, Infrastructure, and Program teams to embed security across the product lifecycle, from architecture and development to deployment and operations.

The ideal candidate has experience securing complex software and hardware in defense or regulated

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, product security, or related roles.
• Experience with software security design and secure system architecture.
• Hands-on threat modeling and risk assessments.
• Familiarity with RMF, NIST 800-53/800-171, DFARS; security documentation an asset.

Responsibilities

• Design secure software and hardware architectures for mission-critical platforms.
• Integrate security requirements across the SDLC with engineering teams.
• Lead threat modeling and risk assessments for products and environments.
• Support RMF/ATO processes, security docs, SSPs, and audits.
• Collaborate to improve product security visibility and governance.
