Job summary

CHAOS Industries is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer focused on Product Security to design, assess, and secure our next-gen sensor platforms and software ecosystems. You will work with Engineering, Embedded Systems, Infrastructure, and Program teams to ensure security throughout the product lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has experience securing complex software and hardware systems in defense or regulated environments and will contribute to security architecture, threat modeling, risk

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering or product security
• Experience securing software/hardware in defense/aerospace environments
• Knowledge of RMF, NIST 800-53/800-171, DFARS
• Hands-on threat modeling and risk assessments
• Familiarity with SSDLC practices and secure development standards

Responsibilities

• Assist with secure software/hardware architecture design
• Integrate security requirements into the SDLC
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments
• Support compliance activities and security authorizations
• Lead security testing and vulnerability remediation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to harden systems
