Job summary

Hyperscience is building a new class of enterprise software that reads and understands documents. We seek a Senior Product Security Engineer who will be the cornerstone of our product security, embedding security from the ground up and partnering with developers to secure code and infrastructure.

You will design, implement, and automate security controls for a cutting‑edge AI product, reviewing features before they ship and owning a critical security function within the engineering organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Security experience in SaaS.
• Able to read Python and write production-ready code.
• Shell scripting for security automation.
• Threat modeling and vulnerability management experience.
• Experience deploying containerized environments with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Familiar with AI tooling to optimize security workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define and mature a software assurance model embedded in development.
• Review features; perform threat modeling; guide engineering teams.
• Triage external security inquiries; perform manual code reviews.
• Design and deploy automated controls to detect, alert, and respond to attacks.
• Facilitate internal security training and knowledge sharing.
