Job summary

CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Security Engineer III to advance network and cloud security architecture across our hybrid environment spanning public cloud and data centers.

You will define strategies, threat modeling, and scalable security patterns while mentoring engineers and driving cross-functional initiatives. You will partner with product and engineering teams to design secure-by-design solutions, implement monitoring and automation, and communicate complex security concepts to

Qualifications

• Deep networking across hybrid environments including public cloud and data center networking.
• Strong cloud security knowledge across hybrid environments.
• Experience identifying network security gaps and designing scalable secure connection patterns.
• Proficiency with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, TLS, crypto).
• Experience leveraging AI to improve team effectiveness and decision making.
• Experience building scalable monitoring, alerting, and automation for network security.
• Scripting skills in Python, Go, shell, or equivalent.
• Ability to work with product/engineering teams in fast-paced environments.
• Understanding of security architecture across the SDLC.
• Ability to work independently on broad problems and drive them to resolution.
• Excellent communication: articulate security concepts and gain consensus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain understanding of CrowdStrike's hybrid networks (cloud and data centers).
• Design secure network connection patterns and zone segmentation for scalability.
• Build scalable monitoring, alerting, and automation for security risks.
• Lead threat modeling for secure architecture and data flows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate security requirements into architecture patterns.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across teams.
