Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is seeking a Principal Engineer, Product Security to own the end-to-end security strategy for multiple business units, spanning AI-driven features, data platforms, and core cloud services.

You will lead architecture reviews and threat modeling, review code and integrations, and advise engineering leadership on risk and GA readiness, including in multi-tenant SaaS and regulated deployments.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in product security, application security, or security architecture.
• Experience across application, cloud, and data security and their interactions.
• Track record of building security programs from scratch.
• Experience reviewing source code and complex data architectures.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the end-to-end product security strategy for assigned business units.
• Conduct architecture reviews and threat models for complex cloud environments, data platforms, and regulated public-sector deployments.
• Review code, system integrations, and AI/LLM gateways to identify vulnerabilities.
• Advise engineering leadership on security risk, including delaying GA when critical requirements are unmet.
