Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a hands-on Platform Security engineer to lead security assurance for the experience and UI layer, including front-end frameworks, runtimes, and guest-user data access.

You will drive threat modeling, security design reviews, and code reviews across web/UI stacks, partner with product and engineering, and define least-privilege, audit logging, and secure-by-default patterns for AI/agent-driven surfaces.

Qualifications

• Hands-on security engineering across web/UI frameworks, runtimes, and data-access surfaces.
• Experience securing guest-user/unauthenticated surfaces and data access patterns.
• Ability to author security standards and lead cross-team security programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead security assurance for the experience/UI layer across web and UI frameworks and runtimes.
• Drive threat modeling, security design reviews, and targeted code reviews (JavaScript/TypeScript, Java).
• Shape least-privilege scoping, audit logging, and short-lived credentials for agent/connector integrations.
• Define secure-by-default patterns and enforce security standards across multi-team programs.
