Zusammenfassung

Itron seeks a senior security leader to advance its product security program across software development, cloud, and engineering environments. You will secure source code, CI/CD pipelines, and supply chains while enabling agile, customer-focused development practices.

You will collaborate with Product Development, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, and Cybersecurity teams to design scalable security solutions that protect Itron products and services throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IS/Cybersecurity.
• 7+ years in cybersecurity/product security or related field.
• 5+ years securing software development environments and pipelines.
• Expert-level in security controls across cloud, SaaS, enterprise, and product teams.
• Strong knowledge of software supply chain security, secrets management, and release practices.
• Deep understanding of modern API/security principles and auth models.
• Experience communicating risk to engineering leadership and executives.
• Ability to influence diverse teams toward secure, innovative practices.

Aufgaben

• Lead architecture and engineering of security controls for code repositories and development environments.
• Design secure CI/CD patterns, artifact controls, signing services, and release workflows.
• Partner with security testing teams on requirements, threat modeling, and releases.
• Establish secure app and API security standards including authentication and data protection.
• Collaborate with engineers to reduce attack surfaces via secure architecture and least privilege.
• Modernize development environments to mitigate credential and code risks.
• Integrate security across source control, CI/CD, cloud, and artifact repositories.
• Automate controls using APIs, IaC, and scripting (Python, PowerShell).
• Define logging, monitoring, and detection requirements with security ops.
• Create guardrails, standards, procedures, and documentation for scalable delivery.
• Ensure auditable evidence for SBOMs, release approvals, and compliance.
