Job summary

United Talent Agency seeks a Senior Product Security Engineer to embed security into design, development, and operation of our products and platforms. You will work with engineering, product, and security teams to design and implement security controls across applications and services to safeguard our brand and digital assets.

The role focuses on security strategy, secure development lifecycle, and incident response, with hands-on work across AWS and other cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in security engineering, application security, or product security roles with a track record of leading initiatives.
• Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10 and practical remediation at scale.
• Experience securing apps/services in AWS or other major cloud providers with cloud-native architectures.
• Hands-on with SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets scanning and integrating into CI/CD workflows.
• Familiarity with IaC review (Terraform), CI/CD security (GitHub Actions), and secrets management.
• Familiarity with container security (Kubernetes RBAC, network policies).
• Experience securing AI/ML platforms in cloud environments and governance across the dev lifecycle.
• Strong collaboration with agile engineering teams and design/code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead security design and architecture reviews for web, mobile, and cloud apps and provide actionable recommendations.
• Define product security requirements and roadmaps across multiple teams.
• Conduct threat modeling workshops to identify risks and drive mitigations.
• Review security for cloud deployments across AWS, Azure, and GCP with platform-specific controls.
• Own and mature the product security lifecycle, including secure design and testing in CI/CD.
• Drive automated security checks in CI/CD pipelines and balance risk with developer velocity.
• Coordinate security testing and remediation with development teams.
• Establish secure coding standards and reusable frameworks across engineering teams.
• Lead API security assessments for REST/GraphQL and API gateway reviews.
