Job summary

Expedia Group in Seattle, WA seeks a Senior Product Security Architect to lead security architecture and threat modeling across prod­ucts, services, and platforms. You will work with product, engineering, and platform teams to embed security into roadmaps and design reviews while advancing AI-enabled security tooling and controls.

You will mentor engineers and product managers, influence security standards, and help scale secure-by-design decisions that protect travelers, partners, and employees

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product security and development experience.
• Extensive experience performing application threat modeling.
• Experience conducting architecture reviews to identify security risks.
• Significant experience applying Generative AI in software development and for end users in large enterprises.
• In-depth understanding of CI/CD and how AI can enhance quality and velocity.
• Familiarity with agentic architectures including SDKs and authorization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted product security architecture advisor across teams.
• Lead threat modeling and security assessments for new products and platforms.
• Embed security requirements into roadmaps, reviews, and delivery processes.
• Provide leadership on AI-enabled security tooling and practices.
• Drive verification of security controls via AI-enhanced automation.
• Communicate trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor product managers, engineers, and architects on security literacy.
• Identify emerging risks and propose long-term architecture approaches.
• Promote a culture of data-driven, continuous improvement in security.
