We are currently hiring a Senior Product Safety Program Specialist responsible for maintaining and enhancing the integrity of Geotab's connected offerings. This role requires high autonomy, stakeholder engagement across the product lifecycle, and proactive risk management to promote secure interoperability and hazard mitigation. What you'll do

Establish and maintain processes for identifying potential hazards and risks associated with Geotab's products. Develop and implement hazard identification and risk assessment methodologies, stay updated on industry standards, and work to integrate these within our products. Drive internal adoption of best practices, collaborate with external partners, and promote a culture of secured interoperability throughout the product lifecycle. Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, lead audits, and communicate risk statuses. Provide technical guidance, utilize AI tools for risk analysis, and collaborate across teams to ensure effective risk management and stakeholder communication. Translate business needs into technical specifications and support sales and marketing efforts.

What you'll bring to the role

• 5-8 years of experience in vehicle technology, telematics, or systems engineering.
• Ability to quickly understand Geotab’s product suite.
• High accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong project management, negotiation, and relationship skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to evolving technology and market demands.
• Scripting, programming, SQL, Python, or JavaScript skills are assets.
• Comfort with G-Suite and a proactive approach to risk mitigation.
