The Medicare Program Manager II is responsible for executing, defining outcomes, monitoring, and analyzing data trends of the Iowa Medicare program. Using cross-functional teams, the manager will deliver requirements to meet business needs and strategic objectives.

Position Details

• This role is fully remote; candidates nationwide are considered.

Responsibilities

• Support initiatives promoting quality, safety, and cost of care.
• Gather requirements, create plans, manage resources, and facilitate project execution and deployment.
• Use standard tools to oversee programs according to procedures.
• Maintain detailed documentation including meeting minutes, action items, and risk management plans.
• Create and monitor department deliverables ensuring quality standards.
• Communicate program status to management and stakeholders.
• Identify resources, resolve issues, and mitigate risks.
• Improve existing processes by identifying requirements and problems.
• Coordinate cross-functional meetings to meet stakeholder expectations.
• Manage projects through their full lifecycle.
• Provide leadership and communicate project status effectively.
• Negotiate with stakeholders to secure resources and resolve issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading cross-functional projects in regulated environments.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 3+ years project management; healthcare experience preferred.

Compensation

Pay range: $68,700 - $123,700 per year.
