Responsibilities

• Monitor developments in product legislation, regulations and standards and their implications for VIAVI Solutions.
• Lead compliance projects as required.
• Maintain a center of knowledge for product regulatory requirements and provide guidance/tools for R&D teams.
• Validate products through pre-compliance and mechanical/climactic tests.
• Coordinate product reviews through external labs.
• Register and report to regulatory authorities as needed.
• Review and confirm the compliance of new products and design changes.
• Audit and maintain supply chain and sales channel compliance.
• Maintain proof of compliance at component and product levels.
• Assist with compliance questions from internal and external customers.
