Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
• PhD in Chemical Engineering or related field highly valued.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in chemical manufacturing, process engineering, quality, semiconductor technology, or a related area.
• Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and root-cause investigation (RCI).
• Demonstrated ability to use structured problem-solving methodologies to resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with customers and cross-functional, multicultural, and geographically distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality initiatives to improve consistency and customer satisfaction.
• Implement controls identified through FMEA and establish SPC specifications, control limits, and trend rules.
• Review intermediate and finished-product control charts, investigate trends, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Investigate and resolve out-of-control product parameters during material production.
• Lead and participate in MRB activities related to product quality issues.
• Prepare Product Change Notifications (PCNs) and collaborate with customers during qualification testing.
• Investigate and resolve customer quality and product performance complaints using structured root-cause investigation methodologies.
