Job summary

Celestica Inc. in Richardson, Texas is seeking a Product Quality Engineer to oversee quality from end-to-end in the product lifecycle. The role requires strong knowledge in quality management and hands-on product testing for switches, storage, and servers.

You will interact with design, supplier management, manufacturing, and customer teams to drive continuous improvement and timely issue resolution, leveraging 8D/RCCA methods and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in quality management and lifecycle quality control.
• Experience with switch, storage and server product testing.
• Knowledge of quality management across design, supplier management, manufacturing and customer issue resolution.
• Familiarity with product development lifecycle and lifecycle phase management.

Responsibilities

• Support generation of HPS quality plans and apply across life cycle.
• Support product end-to-end LPR reviews and review quality data promptly.
• Support generation of performance metrics for HPS products and processes.
• Engage with DSQ, CQE, SQE and global quality team to manage quality cases.
• Resolve customer issues using Root Cause Analysis and corrective actions.
• Demonstrate knowledge of quality metrics, ISO standards and processes.
• Coordinate resources to meet production quality and quantity metrics.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Utilize PC applications like Google Apps, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
