Pearson is seeking a Lead Specialist in Higher Education Product Program Management. You own a program end to end: roadmap, dependencies, risks, and timelines, and you collaborate across Product, Engineering, UX, Content, and Go-to-Market.

This senior individual contributor role fits into Pearson's Higher Education portfolio. You stay hands-on in delivery, monitor outcomes, and move quickly to resolve blockers with cross-functional partners in US and international teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of program or technical program management experience in a technology, product, or software organization.
• 5+ years leading complex, multi-team programs from planning through launch.
• Technical understanding and strong engineering collaboration to work with engineering leads on scope and risk.
• Experience owning program roadmaps, delivery schedules, and cross-team dependencies across distributed teams.
• Ability to influence senior leaders without direct authority, manage escalations, and drive decisions.
• Comfort using delivery data to define success criteria and governing program status.
• Strong written communication and facilitation skills.

Responsabilités

• Own the end-to-end program plan across product, engineering, UX, content, and go-to-market.
• Own prioritization tradeoffs with Product and Engineering leads.
• Drive delivery schedules and launch readiness across multiple teams, including globally distributed teams.
• Surface dependency risk early and provide recommendations.
• Build strong relationships with Engineering, Product, UX, Content, Finance, and go-to-market partners across US and international teams.
