Job summary

GlobalFoundries seeks a Deputy Director to lead a differentiated compute-platform portfolio, turning assets into customizable platform families and derivatives. The role requires deep engagement with hardware and software, customers, and partners to drive launches and sustained revenue growth.

You will own the platform roadmap, pricing, and lifecycle while coordinating across architecture, silicon design, and software teams to deliver scalable solutions and meet market needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering, computer science, or closely related field.
• 8+ years in semiconductor, embedded computing, processor, SoC, or platform product roles, incl. 5+ years in leadership.
• Strong background in compute products and platform launches with measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-year platform vision, strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities for the 12nm compute portfolio.
• Lead cross-functional platform execution across architecture, silicon design, and software teams.
• Drive launches from concept through sampling, production, and market adoption.
• Develop ecosystem with processors, EDA partners, OS/middleware vendors, and tools.
• Establish executive relationships with strategic customers and drive design-wins.
