Marathon Petroleum Corporation seeks a Senior Product Owner to organize, prioritize, and drive Agile delivery for Source to Pay and Enterprise Payables capabilities. You will lead product strategy, backlogs, and roadmaps, partnering with stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to deliver scalable solutions.

The role focuses on SAP Procurement, SAP Ariba, SAP MM, SAP Accounts Payables, and Open Text Vendor Invoice Management across the source to pay value chain, aligning with enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems preferred or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant product ownership experience.
• Experience supporting Source to Receipt and Enterprise Payables (Source to Pay/Procure to Pay).
• Experience with SAP MM and SAP Procurement and Accounts Payables preferred.
• Experience in energy, manufacturing, or transportation industries preferred.
• Product Owner Certification (CSPO, PSPO) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Builds customer and internal-facing products with strong UX across multiple verticals.
• Aligns teams to roadmaps, plans releases, and business objectives.
• Collaborates with Agile teams and stakeholders to address issues during development.
• Works with cross-functional teams to align product strategies and plan releases.
• Identifies issues and performs trade-off analyses to keep delivery on track.
• Prioritizes short-term backlogs and long-term roadmaps.
• Conducts customer research and market analysis to inform strategy.
• Interacts with customers to understand challenges and opportunities.
• Collects data to evaluate viability of initiatives.
• Writes epics and stories to meet business objectives and agile processes.
