Job summary

Marathon Petroleum is seeking a Senior Product Owner to drive Order-to-Cash capabilities, including Accounts Receivable, Collections, and Contract/Order Management. You will partner with business stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to deliver scalable SAP-based solutions and measurable value.

The role emphasizes backlog prioritization, epic/story writing, and data-driven decision making to accelerate cash realization and improve customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience required.
• Experience with Order-to-Cash (O2C) capabilities including AR, Collections, Contract Management, or Order Management.

Responsibilities

• Organize, prioritize, and assess work for Agile teams; drive roadmaps for O2C capabilities.
• Translate business strategy into actionable product backlogs and user stories.
• Define acceptance criteria and ensure measurable business value delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to deliver scalable SAP-based solutions.
• Support continuous improvement and digital transformation aligned with enterprise objectives.
• Lead cross-functional alignment of roadmaps and releases with business objectives.
• Conduct customer research and synthesize market factors into product strategy.
