Job summary

Apogee Engineering seeks a Product Owner SME to support mission-critical software modernization and deployment for the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center and USSTRATCOM/J56. The role centers on backlog management, requirements maturation, and system demonstrations, with on-site duties at Offutt AFB, Nebraska.

You will coordinate with users, requirements managers, program managers, and development teams, ensuring alignment of operational goals with capability delivery and release plans.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize backlogs for SMPES capabilities.
• Translate operational needs into use cases, activity diagrams, and scenarios.
• Coordinate with users, PMO, and development teams to clarify requirements and priorities.
• Support agile ceremonies and release-planning activities.
• Track feature progress and ensure alignment with mission goals.
