Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Product Owner to own the strategic vision and backlog for internal security tools and developer portals. The role emphasizes reducing systemic risk and adopting policy and tooling changes to ease developer workflows.

Ideal candidates bring a strong AppSec or DevSecOps background with cross-functional autonomy, data-driven leadership, and a track record of driving strategy from inception to adoption. This is a hybrid role based in Jersey City.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Technical Product Management or as a Product Owner, ideally building internal developer platforms, security tooling, or DevSecOps products.
• Experience in vulnerability management lifecycles, AppSec, Cloud Security/Architecture, and/or Development Enablement.
• Fully autonomous in driving product strategy from inception to adoption.

Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize user stories and epics for Workstreams 1-5, ensuring engineering efforts directly reduce systemic risk.
• Drive the adoption framework for Business Unit Architecture Champions, focusing on policy modernization and content uplift.
• Ensure that all built solutions, including ASPM ingestion and AI-SDLC scanning, reduce developer friction and enhance the internal user journey.
• Bridge the gap between executive security mandates and the Agile execution pods.
