Job summary

M&T Bank is seeking a Senior Product Owner to lead workflow products within Institutional Services and drive strategic direction for digital transformation initiatives. The role requires aligning with business strategy, guiding prioritization, and collaborating with senior leadership, stakeholders, and agile teams to advance opportunities.

The SPO will oversee vision, governance, and roadmaps for key workflows, ensuring customer voice is represented and value is delivered across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 10+ years' business, analytical, technical and/or product experience preferred.
• Proven ability to set clear priorities and make independent decisions.
• Experience prioritizing across competing priorities in a fast-changing landscape.

Responsibilities

• Set vision and strategy for workflow products aligned with business goals.
• Lead and coach a team of Product Owners to deliver roadmaps and backlogs.
• Drive digital transformation and ensure an excellent customer experience across platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define long-term priorities and success metrics.
• Balance short- and long-term goals to deliver continuous value.
• Manage risk and adhere to regulatory standards while driving delivery.
• Communicate strategic intent and unblock obstacles for agile teams.
