AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Product Owner to own the strategic vision and backlog for internal security tools and developer portals.

This role prioritizes epics that reduce systemic risk, drives policy tooling adoption, and ensures new solutions minimize developer friction. The ideal candidate has strong AppSec or DevSecOps background and can lead cross-functional teams with minimal day-to-day direction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Technical Product Management or as a Product Owner, ideally for internal platforms or DevSecOps tooling.
• Experience in vulnerability management lifecycles, AppSec, Cloud Security/Architecture, and/or development enablement.
• Fully autonomous in driving product strategy from inception to adoption.
• Excels at data-driven decision-making and cross-functional leadership without day-to-day direction.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize user stories and epics for Workstreams 1-5, ensuring engineering efforts reduce systemic risk.
• Drive the adoption framework for Architecture Champions, focusing on policy modernization and content uplift.
• Ensure solutions (ASPM ingestion and AI-SDLC scanning) reduce developer friction and improve the internal user journey.
• Bridge the gap between executive security mandates and Agile execution pods.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Product Owner to own the strategic vision and backlog for internal security tools and developer portals. This person prioritizes epics that reduce systemic risk, drives adoption of policy and tooling changes, and ensures new solutions cut developer friction. Strong AppSec or DevSecOps background and cross-functional autonomy are essential.

MUST HAVES

• You must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the US (e.g., Green card holders, TN visa holders, GC EAD, H4 EAD, U4U with EAD), as we are unable to sponsor or take over employment visa sponsorship at this time;
• 5+ years in Technical Product Management or as a Product Owner, ideally building internal developer platforms, security tooling, or DevSecOps products.
• Experience in vulnerability management lifecycles, AppSec, Cloud Security/Architecture, and/or Development Enablement.
• Fully autonomous in driving product strategy from inception to adoption.
• Excels at data-driven decision-making and cross-functional leadership without requiring day-to-day direction.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

• Prior experience acting as a Product Owner for dedicated infrastructure or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams.
