AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Product Owner to own the strategic vision and backlog for internal security tools and developer portals. You will prioritize epics that reduce systemic risk and drive adoption of policy and tooling changes.

The ideal candidate has a strong AppSec or DevSecOps background, can work autonomously across functions, make data‑driven decisions, and lead cross‑functional teams. Flexible schedule with remote and office options is offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Technical Product Management or Product Owner.
• Experience building internal developer platforms, security tooling, or DevSecOps products welcomed.
• Experience in vulnerability management lifecycles, AppSec, Cloud Security/Architecture, or Development Enablement is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Define and prioritize user stories and epics for Workstreams 1-5, ensuring engineering efforts reduce systemic risk.
• Drive the adoption framework for Architecture Champions, focusing on policy modernization and content uplift.
• Ensure ASPM ingestion and AI-SDLC scanning reduce developer friction and improve the internal user journey.
• Bridge the gap between executive security mandates and Agile execution pods.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Product Owner to own the strategic vision and backlog for internal security tools and developer portals. This person prioritizes epics that reduce systemic risk, drives adoption of policy and tooling changes, and ensures new solutions cut developer friction. Strong AppSec or DevSecOps background and cross-functional autonomy are essential.

MUST HAVES

• You must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the US (e.g., Green card holders, TN visa holders, GC EAD, H4 EAD, U4U with EAD), as we are unable to sponsor or take over employment visa sponsorship at this time;
• 5+ years in Technical Product Management or as a Product Owner, ideally building internal developer platforms, security tooling, or DevSecOps products.
• Experience in vulnerability management lifecycles, AppSec, Cloud Security/Architecture, and/or Development Enablement.
• Fully autonomous in driving product strategy from inception to adoption.
• Excels at data-driven decision-making and cross-functional leadership without requiring day-to-day direction.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

• Prior experience acting as a Product Owner for dedicated infrastructure or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams.
