Job summary

Haemonetics is seeking a passionate Product Owner to help prioritize features, manage the product roadmap, and deliver value to customers for our SafeTrace Tx, BloodTrack, and TEG Manager software. Join a collaborative team at our Hybrid HQ in Boston, contributing to transfusion management workflow improvements and patient care.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in product development and strong Agile experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; higher degrees may substitute for experience.
  • 6+ years in product development, ownership, or transfusion management.
  • CSPO certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of transfusion or hemostasis workflows.
  • Experience with BloodTrack software (end-user or support) strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) preferred.
  • Ability to break down features into clear, manageable user stories.
  • Strong communication and collaboration with technical and commercial teams.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize features and manage the product roadmap for SafeTrace Tx, BloodTrack, and TEG Manager.

Pay Transparency:

The pay range for this role is:


$78,400.00-$133,400.00/Annual


The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account, without limitation, the candidate's location, education, job-knowledge, skills, and experience in prior relevant roles.


Incentives may also be provided as part of Haemonetics' employee compensation. For sales roles, employees will be eligible for sales incentive (i.e., commission) under the applicable plan terms. For non-sales roles, employees will be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, the target amount of which varies based on the applicable role, to be governed by the applicable plan terms. Employees may also be eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive plan, with eligibility and target amount dependent on the role.


In addition to compensation, the Company offers a competitive suite of benefits to its employees, including without limitation, a 401(k) with up to a 6% employer match and no vesting period, an employee stock purchase plan, "flexible time off" for salaried employees and, for hourly employees, accrual of three to five weeks' vacation annually (based on tenure), accrual of up to 64 hours (annually) of paid sick time, paid and/or floating holidays, parental leave, short- and long-term disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, and/or health and welfare benefits.

About the Team

Come join the Software Research & Development (R&D) team at Haemonetics to help our customers improve their transfusion management workflows and processes. Make critical blood collection and therapy decisions for their patients! The Software R&D team is focused on delivering effective software solutions that allow trained users, clinicians, and physicians to have the most complete information to make important clinical decisions every day. We are looking for a passionate and motivated product owner to help us with prioritizing features, managing our product roadmap, and delivering value to customers for our SafeTrace Tx, BloodTrack, and TEG Manager products.


Please note this role will be Hybrid at our Corporate HQ located at 125 Summer Street.


Hospitals face a range of challenging issues. They must provide the highest standard of patient care, while at the same time reducing operating costs. To do this effectively, hospitals and clinicians need access to state-of-the-­art technologies and solutions to help drive improved outcomes. The transfusion management software delivers complete testing and transfusion history in a single, consolidated record to provide continuity-of-care across member locations. Extensive safety features help protect patients, and seamless interfaces streamline clinical communications. The hemostasis management software allows for real-time monitoring of our TEG platform, as well as retrospective information on test history and results.


Education/Experience


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (higher-level degrees may substitute for years of experience);

  • 6+ years of experience in product development, ownership, or transfusion management experience.

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) (preferred)

  • Knowledge of transfusion or hemostasis workflows.

  • Experience with BloodTrack software (as an end-user or support)Strongly Preferred

  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) Preferred

  • Strong ability to break down features into clear, manageable user stories.
