Job summary

CloudLinux Inc. is seeking a Product Owner to lead the email security product line. This hands-on lead role focuses on delivery, technical direction, and coaching for a senior remote squad of Go and Python engineers, with a 60/40 split between leadership and coding work.

You will own architecture, reviews, ADRs, and production health while guiding incident response and roadmap debt paydown. Strong Linux, backend experience, and English fluency are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a software engineer with 2+ years leading a team.
• Strong Linux proficiency; read and review production code.
• Track record of shipping and operating a distributed backend service under load.
• Professional proficiency in English, written and spoken.
• Availability to work EU hours.
• Experience with AI-assisted development and observability tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Turn the product backlog into a credible engineering plan with estimates and release trains.
• Run the team’s weekly cadence with planning and status reporting.
• Own quality gates for model releases, with measurable deltas.
• Keep technical debt visible and funded within the roadmap.
• Report delivery status and risk to engineering leadership weekly.
