Job summary

Guardian Life seeks a Senior Product Owner, Benefits Technology, to lead strategy and delivery of integration capabilities across the Group Benefits ecosystem. You will partner with business and tech leaders to set priorities, drive execution, and enhance connectivity with benefits administration platforms and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5-7+ years in Benefits Technology (BenTech), Group Benefits, insurance tech, or related domain.
• Experience building product roadmaps, backlogs, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Knowledge of carrier integrations and BenAdmin platforms.
• Experience implementing LIMRA LDEx or other data exchange protocols.
• Experience partnering with stakeholders to deliver digital products.
• Experience leading small technical teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile product delivery and customer journey mapping.

Responsibilities

• Lead the BenTech product strategy by translating business objectives into prioritized backlogs, user stories, and development plans.
• Design and deliver integrations supporting Plan Administration, Eligibility, EOI, Leave of Absence, Rating & Quoting, and other Group Benefits capabilities.
• Oversee implementation and governance of LIMRA LDEx standards and other data exchange protocols.
• Partner with Product Managers, business stakeholders, technical leads, developers, and QA teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Manage and mentor a small team of developers and testers while driving continuous improvement, release readiness, and go-to-market execution.
