Guardian Life is seeking a Senior Product Owner, Benefits Technology to drive strategy and delivery of integrations across the Group Benefits ecosystem. You will translate business needs into actionable backlogs and work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable benefits integrations.

You will lead roadmap planning, mentor a small engineering team, and ensure compliance with data exchange standards. Hybrid work requires in-office presence several days weekly.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5-7+ years of experience in Benefits Technology, Group Benefits, insurance tech, or related domain.
• Experience building and managing product roadmaps, backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Knowledge of carrier integrations, BenAdmin platforms, and data exchange technologies.
• Experience implementing or supporting LIMRA LDEx standards and/or other data exchange protocols.
• Experience partnering with business stakeholders, product managers, and technical teams to deliver digital products.
• Experience leading or mentoring small technical teams.
• Strong understanding of business process improvement, customer journey mapping, and Agile product delivery.

• Lead the execution of the BenTech product strategy by translating business objectives into prioritized backlogs, user stories, and development plans.
• Design and deliver best-in-class integrations supporting Plan Administration, Eligibility, EOI, Leave of Absence, Rating & Quoting, and other Group Benefits capabilities.
• Oversee implementation and governance of LIMRA LDEx standards and other data exchange protocols to ensure scalable, compliant integrations.
• Partner with Product Managers, business stakeholders, technical leads, developers, and QA teams to deliver high-impact solutions that enhance customer and partner experiences.
• Manage and mentor a small team of developers and testers while driving continuous improvement, release readiness, and go-to-market execution.
