Job summary

Guardian seeks a Head of Group Benefits Purchase Technology to lead a diverse team and own the strategy for Group Benefits Purchase applications. You will partner with senior leaders to develop and execute the business plan and manage delivery, financials, and operational stability.

You will drive alignment with Guardian Life and Digital & Technology objectives, deliver AI-enabled improvements, and build trusted executive relationships across Group Benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven business-oriented and technology executive knowledge.
• Ability to develop strong business cases and secure funding.
• Experience leading IT and application delivery departments and aligning initiatives with company goals.
• Experience delivering AI-enabled software engineering transformations.
• Experience managing third-party outsourcers and managed service relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Group Benefits Purchase Technology strategy.
• Ensure alignment with Guardian Life and Digital and Technology objectives.
• Oversee financial management of initiatives, team and function.
• Be accountable for all technology related to Group Benefits Purchase applications.
• Drive performance, efficiency and effectiveness of engineering and development teams.
• Lead end-to-end transformation of the Purchase experience with AI at the core.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and identify new opportunities.
