Job summary

Nexify Infosystems in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a Product Owner / Business Analyst with strong Life Insurance and Annuity domain expertise to join our team onsite three days a week.

You will act as SME in annuity products, gather and document requirements, collaborate with stakeholders, and support Agile ceremonies. The role requires 7–10 years of experience and offers opportunities to shape product strategies within the annuity domain.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in Life Insurance and Annuities.
• Strong knowledge of fixed, variable, and indexed annuity products.
• Experience with requirements gathering, process modeling, and business documentation.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• LOMA certifications such as FLMI or ARA are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in annuity products, policy administration, underwriting, and regulatory compliance.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, workflows, and system interactions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, actuaries, underwriters, and technical teams.
• Create and prioritize user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirements.
• Perform gap analysis, root cause analysis, and impact assessments.
• Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and post-implementation activities.
