Job summary

VBA is seeking a Senior Product Owner to own backlog management and cross-functional delivery for a high-complexity product portfolio in healthcare payers. You will translate strategy into actionable work, mentor other Product Owners, and drive disciplined execution across the product lifecycle.

You will collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, QA, Client Success, and Implementation to ensure clear requirements, prioritized backlogs, and on-time delivery while leveraging AI to improve

Qualifications

Proven experience as Product Owner or similar delivery role for complex products.
Healthcare payer domain knowledge with claims workflows is a plus.
Strong backlog management and agile delivery across teams.
Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
Experience using AI tools to improve productivity and delivery.

Responsibilities

Own and prioritize backlog for high-complexity product areas or interdependent products.
Translate strategy into actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements.
Lead backlog refinement and support sprint planning and reviews.
Balance customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints in prioritization.
Mentor Product Owners and improve delivery practices across the team.
