Job summary

The Indiana Attorney General's Information Technology department seeks a Product Owner to bridge stakeholders and the development team, shaping the product roadmap and backlog, translating business objectives into deliverables, and guiding Agile teams through all phases.

You will coordinate requirement gathering, acceptance testing, and release readiness while reporting progress to leadership to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in product ownership or business analysis.
• Solid understanding of product ownership best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and development team.
• Define and maintain product roadmap and backlog based on objectives.
• Translate vision into actionable tasks with cross-functional teams.
• Lead requirement sessions, interviews, and stakeholder meetings.
• Oversee Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives.
• Track milestones, monitor risks, and ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate UAT, documentation, and end-user training when needed.
• Report progress and outcomes to leadership regularly.
