Job summary

Planera, a remote-first startup, seeks a Product Marketing lead within the Product Management team to shape features, launches, and messaging for a fast-growing construction scheduling platform. You will partner with PMs and engineers to bring market context in early, craft positioning for new capabilities, and drive adoption across user journeys with lifecycle campaigns.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction technology or similar built-world software.
• Ability to work inside a product team with PMs and engineers.
• Experience collaborating with marketing on product-focused messaging and assets.
• Demonstrated ownership of campaigns, campaigns setup, measurement, and iteration.
• Past launches of products or features with measurable adoption impact.
• Experience performing competitive analysis that influenced sales or product strategy.
• Strong writing to translate technical concepts into clear messages.
• Comfort marketing AI-forward products with substantive messaging.
• Analytical approach with goal setting and result tracking.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product and engineering from ideation to ship, shaping market talk early.
• Shape positioning and messaging for new capabilities during design, not after launch.
• Own product launches end-to-end: audience, messaging, in-app announcements, release notes.
• Drive engagement across the user journey with lifecycle campaigns.
• Own competitive intelligence: track P6, MS Project, and challengers and craft battle cards.
• Build enablement for Sales and Solutions Engineering: battle cards, demos, training.
• Own consistent product messaging across surfaces and with pricing decisions.
• Collaborate with leadership on website, positioning, and top-level messaging.
