Job summary

Sol is hiring its first marketer to define the narrative for AI-native HR systems. You will write the core story, tailor messages for HR, Finance, and IT buyers, and own the demo narrative and sales enablement.

This role requires hands-on creation of copy, decks, and data sheets, driving Sol’s 2027 market launch and ongoing communications. You’ll research, draft, and iterate with AI, presenting a clear point of view on how AI changes HR work and adoption.

Qualifications

• Experience in product marketing for enterprise B2B software, selling to HR and Finance buyers through long cycles.
• Understanding CHRO/CPO accountability and CFO needs for sign-off conversations.
• Built positioning from scratch or moved a product into a new category.
• Excellent writer who creates own copy for web, slide decks, and data sheets.
• Strong visual taste to craft finished deck and page designs without overloading slides.
• AI is integrated into your workflow for research, drafts, and processes.
• Clear POV on how companies adopt AI beyond bolt-on features.
• Ability to communicate complex products credibly to senior buyers.
• Comfort being the first marketer without a team or playbook.
• Bonus: HRIS/hr tech experience or AI-native company background.

Responsibilities

• Define the narrative and position Sol against legacy and AI add-ons.
• Message to HR, HR Ops/HRIS, Finance, and IT buyers with tailored language.
• Own the demo narrative, first-call deck, objections, and finance business case.
• Lead the go-to-market plan for the 2027 launch and broader rollout.
• Build customer proof through references, case studies, and stories buyers trust.
• Shape Sol's point of view on AI and the future of HR for market adoption.
• Own core assets: website copy, deck, and data sheets; collaborate with design.
• Attend customer calls, track competition, and feed learnings into product and pricing.
