Job summary

Zipcar is seeking a Senior Product Manager to build, manage, and enhance our core platform and user experience across all mobility solutions. You will lead the design and development of new tools and services that improve member experience.

You will collaborate with engineering to define requirements, own billing experiences, and drive platform health metrics, with ownership across mobile apps and internal tools.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in software product management; platform or technical PM background preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field, or a related business field.
• Ability to define platform requirements that connect to business needs using data to formulate hypotheses.
• Partner with engineering to prioritize backlogs and write clear user stories.
• Acts as a consultant for business verticals to translate objectives into billing service requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience leveraging BI platforms for data-driven decisions.
• Familiarity with financial accounting principles, billing services and processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build a vision and own mission-critical applications within Zipcar’s platform and mobile apps.
• Partner with engineering to define product requirements and operational processes to scale Zipcar’s core technology platform.
• Design and implement end-to-end billing experiences across Zipcar’s platform with multiple pricing models and reporting.
• Identify key partners and vendors to support platform services strategies.
• Own and drive initiatives across mobile apps and internal tools, prototyping and iterating with UX teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve platform health and member success KPIs across funnel and metrics.

What You'll Do

• Build a visionand own mission critical applications withinZipcar’splatform and mobile applications
• Partner with engineering to defineproduct requirements and operational processestoscale Zipcar’s core technology platformin support ofshort-term and longer-termgoals
• Design and implement end-to-end billing experiences acrossZipcar’s platform including capabilities to support various pricing models, billing types,receivablesmanagement, reporting and analytics
• Identify key partners and vendors, both business and technical, to support platform services strategies
• Own and drive initiatives across mobile app and internal tools, with the ability to quickly prototype designs and iterate with UX teams
• Partner with key internal stakeholders to driveimprovements to platform health and member success KPIsthat span platform and core user experience (e.g.funnel conversion, chargeback rate, etc.)

What We're Looking For

• Over 5years ofexperience in software product management. Platform ortechnicalproduct management background preferred

The annual starting salary for this position is between $120,000 – $160,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
