Job summary

Zipcar is seeking a Senior Product Manager to build, manage, and enhance our core platform and user experiences across mobility solutions. You will lead the design and development of new tools and services that improve member experience.

You will work with engineering to define requirements, scale the platform, and own end-to-end billing experiences, exploring various pricing models and analytics. This role offers a collaborative environment with strong impact on Zipcar’s roadmap.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software product management; platform/technical PM background preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field or related business field.
• Define platform requirements linked to business needs using data to form hypotheses.
• Prioritize backlogs with engineering and write clear user stories.
• Consult business verticals and translate objectives into billing service requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with BI platforms for data-driven decisions.
• Familiarity with billing processes and accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Build a vision and own mission critical applications within Zipcar’s platform and mobile applications.
• Partner with engineering to define product requirements and operational processes to scale Zipcar’s platform.
• Design and implement end-to-end billing experiences across Zipcar’s platform including various pricing models and analytics capabilities.
• Identify key partners and vendors to support platform services strategies.
• Own and drive initiatives across mobile app and internal tools, prototyping with UX teams.
• Partner with stakeholders to improve platform health and member success KPIs across platform and UX.
