Job summary

Archer, in collaboration with Stord, is hiring a Product Manager for the WES initiative based in Atlanta. You will own the WES strategy, coordinate with DC Ops, Engineering, and Controls to shape the orchestration layer between WMS and automation.

The role requires 5–7+ years in product management in operational environments, hands-on knowledge of warehouse automation concepts, and a track record of turning floor insights into scalable software.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years in product management in complex physical environments.
• Direct exposure to warehouse execution, WMS, WCS, or automation concepts.
• Ability to connect system architecture with floor-level workflow.
• Experience owning ambiguous, build-it-yourself product scope.
• Strong written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to DC sites and spend time on the warehouse floor.

Responsibilities

• WES Strategy: define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the WES.
• Coordinate with DC Operations, Engineering, and Controls to align contracts and data flows.
• Design real-world failure handling and plan a plug-and-play integration layer.
• Support Innovation Lab pilots and translate findings into the core roadmap.
