Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Product Manager - Technical (PMT) to own critical components of the Registries customer experience, defining product strategy, vision, and roadmaps that impact millions of customers celebrating life's moments.

You will partner with engineering, design, and science teams to ship innovative, technically sound solutions, use data and experiments to inform decisions, and communicate with senior leadership to align stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
• Experience managing technical products or online services.
• Experience representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.

Responsibilities

• Own a product area end-to-end: from identifying customer problems to launching and measuring outcomes.
• Define and drive the product vision and multi-year roadmap for your area, aligning with Registries' broader strategy.
• Write clear product requirements (PRFAQs, BRDs, technical specs) translating customer needs into actionable plans for engineering.
• Partner with engineering, design, and science teams to deliver innovative, technically sound solutions.
• Use data, customer research, and experimentation to inform decisions and measure impact.
• Influence senior leadership through written narratives and verbal communication; drive alignment across cross-functional stakeholders.
• Identify and size new opportunities across discovery, personalization, gifting, and occasion expansion.
• Define success metrics, set goals, and hold the team accountable to outcomes over outputs.
• Operate with a bias for action in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where product and engineering work side by side.
