Job summary

Coinflow is hiring a Principal Product Manager to own risk and decisioning across the platform—the systems that decide, in real time, which transactions we approve and on what terms. This is a role with direct P&L impact and end-to-end ownership of thresholds, models, and policies.

You'll collaborate with engineering, data science, finance, compliance, and the commercial team to optimize loss economics and pricing while providing merchants clear visibility and controls.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience in a technically complex or regulated surface area.
• Experience with products where a wrong decision costs the company money — payments, risk, or lending.
• Fluency with loss economics — reason about expected loss and unit economics.
• Experience productizing risk models with precision/recall tradeoffs in production.
• Track record shipping end-to-end from ambiguous problem to production.
• Strong communication across engineers, finance, and merchants.

Responsibilities

• Own the approval-rate and loss-rate tradeoff — set policy and be accountable for both numbers.
• Productize risk models — work with data science to turn models into decisioning products with thresholds, monitoring, and failure behavior.
• Build the loss economics view — partner with finance to understand exposure and translate into pricing and policy.
• Ship merchant-facing risk product — decisioning transparency, controls, and reporting.
• Evaluate and integrate risk infrastructure — assess signal providers, data sources, and vendors.
• Make calls with incomplete data — decide and instrument learning in a fast-moving space.
