Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Manager for the Risk team to own the product strategy and roadmap for fraud, account takeover, and related risk controls across the platform.

You will partner with Engineering, Data Science, and Risk Analytics to ship products that protect customers while maintaining a fast, frictionless experience. The role emphasizes data-driven decision-making, cross-functional collaboration, and scalable risk systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product management with at least 3 years in risk, fraud, trust and safety, or payments.
• Proven track record shipping risk or fraud products that reduced losses or improved detection.
• Strong data-driven decision-making with metrics, experiments, and ML model interpretation.
• Experience partnering with engineering and data science to build real-time risk systems.
• Ability to communicate complex risk trade-offs to senior leadership.
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap for risk domains, defining vision, priorities, and success metrics.
• Drive cross-functional execution with Engineering, Data Science, and Design to ship risk products end-to-end.
• Partner with Risk Analytics and ML teams to translate signals into product requirements.
• Lead experimentation and measurement of risk interventions to quantify impact.
• Shape long-term risk product strategy considering industry trends and regulatory changes.
