Job summary

The Open Home Foundation is seeking a Senior Product Manager for the Ecosystem department, likely covering ESPHome, Music Assistant & Sendspin, and Voice & Assist. This role requires balancing open-source collaboration with product leadership and working with global contributors.

You will define product vision, align community feedback with strategic goals, and collaborate with UX designers, engineers, and commercial partners across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience delivering value to users as a product manager.
• 3+ years of experience shaping strategy and vision for a product.
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with open-source communities and multi-stakeholder collaboration.
• Comfort with public speaking at workshops, meetups, livestreams, etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of product visions and strategies for assigned product(s).
• Incorporate community feedback via feature requests and discussions to inform roadmap.
• Collaborate with UX designers, engineers and external partners to deliver features.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders, aligning hardware launches with software features.
• Monitor community channels (Discord, forums, GitHub) to ensure projects stay on track.
