Job summary

Topstep is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own and evolve core areas of TopstepX, the proprietary futures trading platform. You’ll partner with engineering, design, risk, and operations to define direction, deliver reliable features, and improve trader outcomes in real time.

You’ll translate platform strategy into shipped results, balance speed and stability, and measure impact with trader-centric metrics.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7+ years of experience in product management, with end-to-end ownership of technical products.
• Experience building products for trading, brokerage, fintech, or other real-time, data-intensive domains.
• Knowledge of futures markets, trading mechanics, order types, market data, and risk concepts.
• Strong strategic thinking balancing platform goals with detailed execution.
• Proven success leading cross-functional efforts with significant technical complexity.
• Fluency in customer discovery, product validation, and data-informed decision-making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across teams and levels.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute product strategy for core TopstepX areas, aligning trader needs with business goals and constraints.
• Lead platform initiatives from discovery through delivery with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams.
• Understand trader journeys across data, charting, order entry, and performance review; prioritize accordingly.
• Break down complex problems using trader insight, data, and market context to drive decisions.
• Balance new capabilities with platform stability, performance, and reliability as a feature.
• Collaborate with risk, compliance, operations, and support to ensure compliant platform behavior.
• Drive roadmap and development with a bias toward learning and measurable results; define success metrics.
