Job summary

Kraken is seeking a product manager to own the Kraken Pro onboarding experience globally, from landing to first trade. You will continually analyze funnels, identify friction, and drive UX improvements to increase trust and activation.

You will partner with Design, Data, Engineering and Marketing, leveraging AI to personalize the onboarding path and speed decision-making for a faster, more confident first trade. A passion for crypto and trader mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in product management, with onboarding/activation or growth UX focus.
• Strong UX sense to spot friction, simplify flows and build trust.
• Data fluency: define metrics, analyze funnels, translate data into actions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; tell clear narratives with numbers.

The team

The Pro team is responsible for Kraken Pro’s web and mobile trading experiences across spot and futures markets.

The opportunity

• Own the onboarding experience for Kraken Pro globally, end to end - from first landing through a client's first trade

• Constantly assess the funnel: identify what's working, what's not, and drive continuous UX improvement

• Deeply understand the Pro customer: who they are, what they need most in their first days, how to talk to them, and what gets them excited to trade

• Live in the onboarding data - pinpoint the biggest friction points, where clients drop off, and the highest-leverage opportunities

• Design the experience to build trust at every step, guiding clients through onboarding with confidence

• Get clients to their first trade - their "aha moment" - faster and with more conviction

• Partner closely with Design, Data, Engineering, and Marketing to turn insight into shipped improvements

• Use AI to see the funnel more clearly and move faster on it - from surfacing friction points and predicting who's about to drop off, to personalizing the onboarding path and messaging per client

What you bring

• 4+ years of product management experience, with a strong track record in onboarding, activation, or growth-oriented UX work

• Sharp product sense for user experience - able to spot friction, simplify complex flows, and design for trust and excitement

• Strong data fluency: comfortable defining success metrics, analyzing funnels, and turning data into prioritized action

• Excellent written and verbal communication - able to bring stakeholders along with clear narratives and numbers

• A customer-first instinct - genuinely curious about who the user is and what would make them excited to trade

• Fluent working with AI tools day to day — using them to analyze data, personalize experiences, and speed up how you work as a PM

• Passion for crypto and trading, with a strong belief in Kraken Pro's mission
