Why Join Us

Be part of an organization that’s driving change and consistently recognized as a top employer. At Deluxe, we know that great people build great companies—and we invest in you accordingly.

  • We’re proud to be recognized as a Great Place to Work and a top workplace for Moms, Dads, LGBTQ+ employees, and Veterans.
  • We offer competitive benefits starting on day one, designed to support your life both in and out of work.
  • 42% of our employees have stayed for 10+ years, citing our people, benefits, work-life balance, inclusive culture, and team support as key reasons why.

The Deluxe Developer Platform enables software companies, SaaS providers, and ISVs to embed payment capabilities directly into their applications through APIs, SDKs, and embedded payment experiences. The platform supports the full payment lifecycle including payments, tokenization, vaulting, subscriptions, reporting, and automation while Deluxe securely manages processing, compliance, and settlement.

About the role

Deluxe’s Payments Platform enables merchants and independent software vendors (ISVs) to embed payment capabilities into their applications using APIs, SDKs, and embedded payment experiences. The platform supports capabilities across the payment lifecycle, including payment acceptance, tokenization, vaulting, subscriptions, reporting, and automation.

As Senior Product Manager, you will help define the strategy and drive the roadmap for the platform’s technical and developer-facing capabilities. You’ll make it easier for partners to discover, understand, test, and integrate Deluxe payment products and help ensure the platform is coherent and usable across APIs, tools, documentation, and integration experiences. The role requires close partnership with engineering, architecture, implementation, and documentation teams, as well as regular engagement with developers, ISV engineering teams, and solution architects.

What you’ll do
  • Own platform strategy and roadmap: Translate customer needs, business goals, and technical opportunities into a prioritized roadmap for payment APIs, developer tools, and integration experiences.
  • Improve the end-to-end developer journey: Reduce friction from discovery, evaluation through sandbox testing, integration, launch, and ongoing use.
  • Set direction for platform capabilities: Guide API design and usability, SDKs, embedded payment modules, webhooks and events, developer documentation, integration guides, testing tools, and sandbox experiences.
  • Drive platform consistency: Partner with product, engineering, and architecture teams on API standards, authentication, access management, event-driven patterns, and consistent integration practices across products.
  • Lead cross-functional execution: Define problems and requirements, clarify dependencies, make trade-offs, and keep initiatives moving across engineering, architecture, implementation, UX, and documentation.
  • Bring evidence into decisions: Engage directly with customers, developers, ISV engineering teams, implementation partners, and solution architects to understand integration challenges and validate priorities.
  • Make integration readiness a product concern: Work with technical teams to ensure APIs, specifications, examples, collections, and guides are accurate, usable, and aligned with product experience.
  • Measure outcomes: Establish and monitor measures such as integration time, time to first successful API call, developer adoption, completion of onboarding, and recurring integration friction.
  • Communicate clearly: Keep stakeholders aligned on roadmap decisions, trade-offs, progress, risks, and launch readiness.
Basic qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in product management in fintech, SaaS platforms or developer-facing products.
  • Experience building or managing API driven platforms or developer ecosystems.
  • Strong analytical and data driven decision-making skills.
  • Strong understanding of integration architecture, APIs, SDKs, and event driven systems.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience in payments, fintech infrastructure, or a related regulated technology domain.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled developer tools, agentic workflows, and MCP. Experience evaluating how they can improve API discovery, integration, and developer self-service.
  • Familiarity with payment concepts such as authorization, capture, settlement, tokenization, vaulting, and recurring payments.
  • Experience partnering with Software vendors, ISVs, SaaS providers, or other technology partners.
  • Experience with developer portals, OpenAPI specifications, API testing tools, webhooks, and sandbox environments.
  • Experience consolidating products, APIs, or integration experiences across multiple platforms or teams.
  • Demonstrated success leading API-driven, developer-facing, SaaS, or fintech products from strategy through delivery.
  • Strong analytical, prioritization, and communication skills, with a track record of using customer insight and product data to guide decisions.
  • Ability to lead across teams and influence without direct authority.
